People don't buy from businesses.
They buy from the people behind them.

They look you up before they contact you

You never see the enquiries that don’t happen. Someone gets your name from a referral or a search, and before they email you they open LinkedIn. What they find there decides whether the email gets sent at all. If the profile says “Director” and the last post was in 2022, they keep looking.

This is a different job from being found. SEO brings people who have a problem and are looking for someone to solve it, while LinkedIn is where someone who already has your name works out whether to trust you with it. Both matter, but they aren’t the same thing and they don’t get fixed the same way. The awkward part is that the founders who are best at the work are usually the quietest about it.

What a personal branding agency does

Every retainer covers the things that take you from an underused profile to being the person your buyers already trust before they call.

Most LinkedIn agencies sell content production: a number of posts a month, written by someone who read your website. We start from a monthly interview with you instead, because your judgement about your own industry is the one thing nobody else can write.

Positioning

What you’re known for, who you’re talking to, and what you’ll say publicly that others in your field won’t.

Your profile

Headline, about section and experience, rewritten so someone checking you up finds a reason to get in touch.

Content

Written from your own thinking, taken from the monthly interview, and approved by you before anything goes out.

Engagement

Replies, comments and conversations. This is the part that decides whether a post gets seen, and the part most services leave out.

Reporting

What went out, what it produced and what changes next month. Monthly, in plain English, and led by enquiries rather than follower count.

What's not included

Paid LinkedIn ads, InMail campaigns and connection automation. Automated outreach works until someone notices, and in professional services someone always notices, with your name on it. Outreach on the higher tier is done manually.

How it works

Everything runs off a regular conversation with you.

Positioning and your profile

We start with a long session working out what you’re known for, who you’re talking to, and what you believe that’s worth saying publicly, then rebuild your profile from that. How quickly content starts depends on where you’re starting. If your positioning is already clear, posts can go out in the first few weeks. If it needs working out properly, that comes first, because publishing before we know what we’re publishing about wastes the month.

Every month, or every fortnight on the higher tier, we talk for an hour. We’ll have a friendly conversation, where the job is to get at the things you know so well you’ve stopped noticing them: the advice you give every new client in the first meeting, or the question you’re asked constantly that has a better answer than the obvious one. That hour produces more usable material than a month of trying to remember to write things down.

We write from what you said, in your voice, and you approve everything before it goes out. You’ll spend about twenty minutes a month on approvals, which is deliberate: a LinkedIn service that needs three hours a week of your attention isn’t really a service.

Posting on its own isn’t enough. Replies, comments on other people’s posts and conversations in the DMs are what turn a post into an enquiry, and it’s the work most content services quietly leave out.

Who writes the posts?

We do, from your words. That’s what a LinkedIn ghostwriter is, and there’s no reason to be coy about it. Nobody thinks less of a chief executive for having a speechwriter.

The thinking is yours, taken from the interviews, and the writing is ours. You approve everything, and nothing goes out in your name that you haven’t read.

Pricing

LinkedIn visibility starting from £1,250/month.

LinkedIn profile rewrite - from £250

Headline, about section and experience, rewritten properly. A one-off, and the right option if you post yourself and just want the profile to stop working against you.

LinkedIn visibility - £1,250/month

Positioning and profile rebuild in month one, then a monthly interview, content written, approved and scheduled, engagement, and a monthly report.

LinkedIn plus outreach - £2,500/month

Everything in LinkedIn visibility, plus fortnightly interviews, manual outreach to the people you want as clients, and pipeline reporting.

Company page management is an additional addon, running your company page alongside you on the same content and voice. We don’t sell it on its own, because a company page without an active founder behind it doesn’t get enough reach to be worth your money.

Who this isn't for

If your customers don’t look you up before they buy, or they aren’t active on LinkedIn, this isn’t worth your money. A retail business, a trade, most ecommerce: those need to be found in search rather than on LinkedIn. That’s SEO, not this.

It also doesn’t work if you won’t do the interview. The whole service is built on getting your thinking out of your head, and there’s no version of it where we write good content without talking to you. If you want to hand it over completely and never think about it again, you’ll be better served somewhere else.

Why Future Faced

Future Faced is built for founder-led businesses. We know what it’s like to run a business, and how important it is that your website just works.

The proof is the account you're reading this from

Over 3 million LinkedIn impressions, built the same way we’d build yours. This isn’t a service we researched and launched; it’s the one we run on ourselves.

You work directly with me

Daniel Jay Lyle. The person interviewing you is the person writing, and nothing is passed to a junior, because the whole thing depends on knowing what you meant.

We work with professional services

Accountants, consultants and advisory firms, where the purchase is considered and the founder’s credibility is most of the decision. We know what you can and can’t say publicly in a regulated field.

Fewer clients at once

Interview-led work doesn’t scale past a point. That’s the trade, and it’s why the content sounds like you.

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions we get asked most about personal branding on LinkedIn.

What is a personal branding agency?

A personal branding agency works out what you’re known for and makes it visible to the people who need to see it, usually through LinkedIn. The work covers positioning, your profile, content written on your behalf, and the engagement that gets it in front of the right people. The good ones start from your own thinking; the rest start from your website, which is why the output sounds like everyone else’s.

Our retainers start at £1,250 a month, with a £2,500 tier that adds fortnightly interviews and outreach, and a one-off profile rewrite from £250. Across the UK, personal branding and LinkedIn ghostwriting runs from a few hundred a month for content-only services up to £3,000 or more for full management. Below about £750 a month you’re generally buying posts written from public information rather than from conversations with you, and that difference shows.

It depends whether your buyers check you before they buy. For a retail business or a trade, probably not. For an accountant, consultant or advisory firm where the purchase is considered and the relationship is with you personally, it’s often the highest-return thing you can do, because it works on people who are already most of the way to contacting you.

Yes. We interview you, write from what you said, and you approve everything before it goes out. Nothing is published in your name that you haven’t read. The ideas are yours, the writing is ours, and it takes you about twenty minutes a month.

Yes, as an addon on a founder retainer rather than on its own. Company pages get a fraction of the reach a personal profile does, so one running by itself rarely justifies the cost, but alongside an active founder, on the same content and voice, it works well and costs little extra because the thinking is already done.

Worth a conversation

If people are looking you up before they get in touch, it’s worth knowing what they find. Tell us about your business and we’ll look at your profile together. If the honest answer is that you don’t need this, that’s what you’ll hear.

The problem isn't that you don't have anything to say. It's that you haven't said it yet. That's where we come in.

The founders who seem to attract opportunities effortlessly aren't lucky. They've built a presence that works for them around the clock.

A personal brand isn't about being an influencer. It's about being findable, credible and recognisable to the right people before you've ever spoken to them.

Most founders we work with are the most compelling thing about their business. Their story, their perspective, their way of thinking. None of it is visible online.
